To add a guy assembly to a pole, follow these steps:
- Go to the Poles tab and select the pole from Poles in Profile to target for a new guy assembly.
- Click Components to access the Components tab.
- Click Add Component.
- Select Guy from the drop-down menu to open the Add Guy form.
- Select a guy assembly from those available in the Guy Assembly drop-down list.
- In the Start From section, select the Type for the attachment point, which defines the type of guy you are creating, and provide an Attachment Height. Also use the checkbox provided to indicate if the guy is a dead end.
- In the Anchor To section, define the anchor to which the guy will attach. See Anchors for more information.
- Click Create to add the new guy assembly.
- Optional. Click Calculate to analyze the modified design.
